Can I get herpes from sharing clothing w/ someone that has it? - herpes wash clothes

someone very close to me has a cold and tried on a pair of shorts. If I wash myself, is OK for me with the exposure to play it.

Herpes can be spread by clothing. You need to be in direct contact with skin to skin contact with an infected area of someone who has the virus in order to achieve this goal.

I recommend not to share underwear with this person. (In the context of participation gross anyway).

I contracted genital herpes when I 17 years. More and clothing to share with my friends and my cousins, and none of them have given me herpes. This is not only the dissemination of this!

Good luck!

No. ..
Herpes is made by direct contact of skin with an infected person under contract. There are no documented cases of infection via an inanimate object (eg a towel, etc.), the infection is theoretically possible but very unlikely because of the fragility of the virus itself. However, in the case of mucous membranes, even microscopic abrasions are sufficient to expose the nerve endings in which the virus splices itself.
