Upconverted Dvd Quality I Am Having Poor Display Quality With My XBox 360 When I Connect Using HDMI Cable?

I am having poor display quality with my XBox 360 when I connect using HDMI cable? - upconverted dvd quality

I hook my Xbox 360 Samsung HL-T6756W HDTV via an HDMI cable. If I do I get a picture of a green color and picture quality is really bad. Worse than a standard DVD, which was not converted. Based on the link below, seems to be a known issue with Microsoft, but does not really help the proposals. Someone else has this problem? Could be bad HDMI cable? Should I go back to component cables?
